A Look At Ottawa’s Top-Performing Traffic Cameras

Apparently, people just do not learn. The City of Ottawa released numbers for how well their photo radar cameras are performing, and let’s just say they’ve led to an impressive amount of tickets.

Once again claiming the top spot in the “Best Bang For The Buck” photo radar setups is the one across from Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Kanata.

And it took the top spot by a rather impressive margin.

Still, beyond those impressive numbers, other cameras across Ottawa still brought in thousands of tickets.

Across all the cameras, there were 80,944 tickets issued.

Here is the breakdown –

  • Katimavik Road between Castlefrank and Curran Street – 16,736 tickets
  • Ogilvie Road between Appleford Street and Elmlea Gate – 15,616 tickets
  • Smyth Road between Haig Drive and Edgecomb Street – 10,772 tickets
