Sarah Cox is an award-winning journalist and author. Her book Breaching the Peace: The Site C Dam and A Valley’s Stand Against Big Hydro details a lesser known story of a clean energy project with devastating consequences. The Peace River Valley in British Columbia home to First Nations who fish, hunt and live the land, which is likely to become Site C Dam. Additionally, the site also falls within the bounds of Treaty 8, which recognizes the rights of First Nations on the land. No court has tested the site to see if it does violate Treaty 8.
