Ally Freedman made history in 2017 when she was one of the young women who flooded the House of Commons on International Women’s Day. Daughters of the Vote was put on by Equal Voice to give young women mentorship from politicians across the country while encouraging young women to consider their own political futures. It was the first time every seat was filled by a woman. The Daughters of the Vote initiative is returning for a second iteration April 2017. Freedman joined 95.7 ELMNT FM to talk about her experiences and why she encourages young women to apply.
