ELMNT FM Interview – Jennifer Flanagan, Actua

 

Young girls typically lose interest in STEM around the age of 12, closing a word of opportunity. Jennifer Flanagan from Actua spoke with ELMNT 95.7 about what the world gains when Indigenous communities, women and girls participate in STEM. She also discussed the Indigenous Youth in STEM programs that have partnered with communities to engage First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples in science and tech.
