Boil water advisory in place at Algonquin College
Algonquin College has a boil water advisory in place at its Ottawa campus for residences and the G, P and S buildings.
The campus is advising students, staff and faculty in the impacted areas to bring water to a boil for a least a minute before consumption. This includes drinking water, preparing food and making ice.
The college is asking residents to boil water before brushing their teeth and washing dishes. The school says it is safe for students to shower.
Anyone who cannot boil their water is asked to only drink bottled water until the issue is resolved. Algonquin will share updates on its social media channels.
