It feels like everyday and every hour, a concert or major festival is crossed off the calendar or pushed forward several months. But that hasn’t stopped musicians and artists from coming through and live-streaming their concerts (usually to an empty venue) or simply playing music from their homes as they self-isolate. Check out the list below of the live streams you can enjoy to keep your concert-going experience alive and well:
[March 26th, 2020]
- Bandsintown Live Stream
The concert event listing site, Bandsintown, is doing a two-day live stream of several bands including Taking Back Sunday & Sofi Tukker. You can check it out Thursday and Friday here. Donations will go toward the Musicares COVID-19 Relief Fund.
- Laura Marling
Laura Marling has been posting daily guitar lessons featuring the most requested tunes from the audience. You can check these out daily on Instagram Live at 3PM.
- Frank Turner
Folk artist Frank Turner is back with another live streamed performance at 4PM. He’ll be playing his album, Sleep is for the Weak and proceeds will go to Nambucca, a venue that has had to temporarily close. You can check it out here.
- Sarah Harmer
Canadian folk singer-songwriter Sarah Harmer is going live on Facebook and Instagram at 8PM to perform.
- Waxahatchee & Kevin Morby
Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby are joining forces again to celebrate Waxahatchee’s new album.

- Miley Cyrus’ “Bright Minded”
Miley is hosting a full lineup of awesome talents today, including Reese Witherspoon, Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha and Hillary Duff.

- AWOLNATION
AWOLNATION’s Aaron Bruno has been hosting a daily show on Instagram. Today’s episode features Dan Mackagan of Guns N Roses. You can check it out at 3PM here.
- Charli XCX
Charli XCX is bringing you a live streamed DJ set as part of the online queer community party Club Quarantine’s schedule of live sets, tonight at 9PM. You can check it out here but it does require a password and it can hold up to 1000 people. The password to get into the event will be posted on the Club Q Instagram page at 9PM.
- Weyes Blood
Coming off the news that their Australian tour would have to end early, Weyes Blood wanted to continue to bring the live music. They’re performing a live stream through Pitchfork’s Instagram at 10PM.

- Camp Cope’s Mini-Festival
Alt-rock band Camp Cope are hosting a leg of the Distant Together: Lost in Your Living Room online music festival which features several artists. It kicks off at 3:30PM and you can tune in here.
- Foals’ Listening Party
You can enjoy a live stream of indie-rock band Foals as they have a listening party for their very first album, Antidotes, in celebration of its 12th anniversary. Check it out on Instagram at 2PM.
- Vagabon & SASAMI’s Online Performance
These two indie icons are coming together to host a joint Instagram live concert. You can check it out at 3:30PM here.

- Jeremy Dutcher
Unfortunately Polaris prize winning musician and singer Jeremy Dutcher had to cancel upcoming tour dates but we can celebrate in his music from the comfort of home as he’s bringing us a show live on Facebook on Friday at 3:30PM.
- Erykah Badu’s “Apocalypse One: Live Interactive Experiment from Badubotron”
Multi-talented R&B artist Erykah Badu will be broadcasting from live from her Instagram this weekend. There is a $1 entry fee.

- Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion Tour:
When Willie Nelson’s annual Luck Reunion Festival got cancelled, that didn’t stop him. He announced he’d host a digital live stream called Luck Presents: ‘Til Further Notice and it features several of the artists from the original lineup including himself and his sons Lukas and Micah, Margo Price & Jeremy Ivey, and Jewel.

- Waxahatchee & Kevin Morby
Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby are coming together to perform tonight. They shared the evening will include tunes, guests and a nice time!

- Indigo Girls
Folk duo Indigo Girls will light up your social media tonight with a chill set while taking fan questions.

- #TogetherAtHome Series
Chris Martin of Coldplay began a new online series called Together at Home when he went live on Instagram on March 16th. From there we saw John Legend, Niall Horan & Common perform.

- Iskwē’s Live from My Living Room Series
Iskwē is hosting daily chats with other artists and answering fan questions to boot. She spoke with Ria Mae and has plans to chat with Hello Begonia.
You can tune into her chats via Instagram Live at 7PM.
- Billboard’s “Live-At-Home Series”
You can tune into performances from a number of artists directly out of their homes from Billboard’s Facebook page. Yesterday, Jojo, Luke Bryan, Josh Groban among others performed throughout the day.
- Ben Gibbard’s Daily Performances
Ben Gibbard has been sharing live videos of him performing various tunes. So far, he’s covered Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees”, New Order’s “Ceremony” and of course plenty of classic tunes from his own band, Death Cab for Cutie, including “Technicolor Girls.”

- Charli XCX’s Instagram Live Chats
Charli XCX is hosting daily hangouts with other musicians and artists. She spoke with Christine & the Queens to kick things off. She’s got plans to live stream her workout with Diplo, and chat with Rita Ora and Kim Petras and take an art lesson from Clairo.
They air on her Instagram Live channel at 12PM.
- Neil Young’s Fireside Sessions
Neil Young shared that he is planning to live stream from his living room and share in music and time together. He hasn’t set a date just yet, but says it will stream from his website, the Neil Young Archives.
- Miley Cyrus
Miley is hosting an episode-style show called Bright Minded featuring live streams of her chatting with other iconic celebs.

Rufus Wainwright has been performing a song a day on his piano and sharing it on his Instagram.
