Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival Goes Virtual for 2020

This year you’ll be able to celebrate the Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival in a brand new way and for longer too. The festival coordinators are bringing the festival programming to you virtually this year from June 1 to June 21 in celebration of National Indigenous History Month.

We’ll see a lot of the awesome features we’ve enjoyed in the past like live music! This year will showcase performances from Cody Coyote and Silla & Rise. You can also look forward to a social distancing powwow, cooking tutorials, arts and crafts demos and more, all broadcast to social media.

In April it was announced that the festivities would be cancelled in 2020 but that they would be going online in new and innovative ways.
