The city has launched a new toolkit to help businesses safely reopen during the novel coronavirus. The city says the kit was created with input from Ottawa Public Health.
The toolkit comes as the province enters the first stage of its economic recovery with businesses that have street entrances reopening this week.
The resources include various signage businesses can post like how customers should physically distance and how to properly take on and off a mask. Businesses will also have access to guides on how to properly disinfect public spaces and a self-assessment questionnaire for employees heading back on the job.
The guideline breaks down sector–specific information, as different industries will need to factor in new accommodations. This includes guidelines for restaurants, construction and festivals.
