ImagineNATIVE and Media Arts will host their 21st festival online this year. This six–day online festival will include over 100 Indigenous artists to highlight film, art and storytelling.  

ImagineNATIVE says it will work to create the spirit of the physical festival with giveaways highlighting Indigenous-owned companies. The festival calls this ‘gifting from the spirit and for the spirit.’  

“With the community as a priority, the 2020 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival will be guided by Indigenous practices of gifting and reciprocity,” says the festival’s executive director, Niki Little. “To gift is an act of acknowledgement.”
