Music lovers get ready! The 2020 Juno nominees list has been announced along with more information on the show.
Alessia Cara will host this year’s awards.
Several Indigenous artists have been nominated, including Iskwē, who is up for Adult Alternative Album of the Year & Music Video of the Year, Tanya Tagaq, who is up for Instrumental Album of the Year, Silla + Rise who are up for World Music Album of the Year & Renee Lamoureux, who is up for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.
The Indigenous Artist of the Year category is stacked as well, featuring:
- Celeigh Cardinal, Stories from a Downtown Apartment
- Digawolf, Yellowstone
- Nêhiyawak, Nipiy
- Northern Haze, Siqinnaarut
- Riit, Ataataga
And many other artists are up for nominations too including Justin Bieber, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, Loud Luxury & Bryce Vine, Ralph, Jessie Reyez & Daniel Caesar.
But this year, Alessia Cara and Tory Lanez have been nominated the most, with five and six nominations respectively.
