Ottawa Public Library Re-Opens Five More Branches

You’ll be able to visit even more library locations across the city starting today. The Ottawa Public Library has opened five more branches across the city including: Emerald Plaza, Centennial, Blackburn Hamlet, Alta Vista and Elmvale Acres. These five branches will offer contactless book returns. If you have any safety concerns regarding borrowing a book, these branches will handle books between readers by quarantining them for 72 hours.

On August 10, Ottawa Public Library says you will see seven more locations re-open across the city including Orleans, Rideau, Vanier, Manotick, Richmond, Sunnyside and Hazeldean.
