Though you won’t be outside this September enjoying live music surrounded by thousands of other fans, you will not have to wait a whole year to experience one of Ottawa’s most beloved music festivals.
Following the lead of some other major events in this city this year, CityFolk Festival 2020 is going virtual.
Organizers have announced the festival that happens every September at Lansdowne Park will be moved online this year. With many artists and fans wondering what the fate of the festival was going to be, we are happy to hear that the show must go on!
Mark Monahan, CityFolk Executive Director broke the news Wednesday.
Details on the festival such as dates and performers have yet to be announced. But good news, Monahan says CityFolk will return to Lansdowne Park in the fall of 2021.
