City to resume community space rentals

The City says it will resume community space rentals in August. The move comes with Ottawa progressing into Stage 3 of the province’s economic recovery plan. You can start renting those spaces again August 4th. 

You can rent the following facilities: 

  • Billings Estate (outdoor)  
  • Centre Richelieu Vanier 
  • Cumberland Museum (outdoor) 
  • Heron Road Community Centre 
  • John G. Mlacak Community Centre 
  • Lansdowne Park 
  • Osgoode Community Centre 
  • Nepean Sportsplex 
  • Pat Clarke Community Centre 
  • Pinhey’s Point (outdoor) 
  • Ray Friel Recreation Complex 
  • Richcraft Recreation Complex 
  • Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre 
  • Shenkman Arts Centre 
  • Walter Baker Athletic Centre 

The provincial government’s third stage reopening plan mandates indoor gatherings of no more than 50 people. Outdoor gatherings will allow 100 people. The City says it will allow rentals if each guest can maintain two metres between each other. Amateur sports can resume if there is no physical contact.
