Canadian Museum of Nature Reopening on Labour Day Weekend

You can get back to your favourite nature exhibits here in the capital with the reopening of the Canadian Museum of Nature Saturday, September 5th. The museum will also open its doors for Labour Day on September 7th.

You’ll be able to enjoy all of the permanent installations along with a couple new features, including Gaia, which is a large depiction of Earth that was meant to debut for Earth Day in April and a brand new exhibit, called “Planet Ice: Mysteries of the Ice Ages” which is set to open on September 25th.

The museum says added safety measures will be in place including only allowing 250 people within the museum at a time. As well, more interactive areas will be closed off until further notice.

The museum will open from 10:00am-4:00pm every Wednesday to Sunday. The first hour is exclusive to museum members.

Members of the museum are able to attend on August 29th and 30th.

You can get your tickets here.
