If you’ve been enjoying the ability to cycle, walk and run along some of our city’s major parkways on weekends this summer, the National Capital Commission has announced these pilots will be extended through September.  

The following pilots will stay open on weekends from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM until September 27th:  

• The Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway in both directions between the Aviation Parkway and St. Joseph Boulevard  
• The Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway’s westbound lanes from Booth Street to Carling Avenue  
• The Queen Elizabeth Driveway from Laurier to Fifth avenue  

The Gatineau, Champlain and Fortune Lake parkways will stay open Mondays through Saturdays and Sunday morning until September 26.
