If you’re worried about keeping your pet healthy and happy due to financial stresses amidst the pandemic, Ottawa Humane Society has got you covered.

The Emergency Pet Food program offers pet food to local dog and cat owners.  The food on offer is suitable for all sizes. Litter is also available for pick up.

The program has taken place since June, where food and litter could be picked up once a week, on Thursdays. Now, you are able to book an appointment for Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. Monday and Wednesday appointments are available between 10:00AM – 12:00PM and Thursday appointments are available between 1:00PM – 4:00PM. 

Book your appointment on the Ottawa Humane Society’s website. However, if you have pet food on hand and the means to get more, they ask you not to make one.
