Limit of 25 people on outdoor recreational facilities starts Friday in Ottawa

A limit of 25 people at outdoor recreational facilities in Ottawa will start this Friday at 5am.

Chief Medical Officer of Heath Dr. Vera Etches has placed a cap on the number of people using outdoor recreational facilities in the city, including at public skating rinks, at the top of tobogganing hills, trail heads, and access points of facilities.

Bylaw officers in Ottawa will enforce the order and will response to complaints from the public.

Dr. Vera Etches says that it’s been hard to physically distance from others during these outdoor activities.

This 25-person limit will not include the Rideau Canal Skateway.
