Ottawa’s WinterPride goes digital in 2021

The third annual WinterPride might look a little different this year, but it’s going strong virtually. Capital Pride  announced it would hold the annual festivities, which are celebrated during Winterlude, through online spaces. You can get involved through a speaker series, an acoustic musical performance, drag shows, and art showcases from February 8-12 

There are six key virtual events taking place over WinterPride 

  • February 8thOur Voices: Anti-Black Racism – A Conversation from a Black Queer Perspective 
  • February 9thThe Drag Family Hour 
  • February 10th: FIERCE! “Virtual First Impressions” 
  • February 10th: It’s Drag Henny!-Winter Edition hosted by Rupaul’s Drag Race season eight winner, Bob the Drag Queen 
  • February 11thQueer Acoustic Soul featuring Kimberly Sunstrum 
  • February 12th: Youth Art Showcase: INStudio Winter Edition
