Hip Hop News – February 19, 2021

January was a pretty quiet month overall for new releases, but February has certainly made up for that! As of today, we have seen new singles from the likes of Chris Brown & Young Thug and Street Life & Method Man but we also saw a track by Eminem & Nate Dogg from 2002 hit a new milestone.

Chris Brown and Young Thug have continued to provide us with new content relative to their commercial mixtape released on May 5th, 2020, “Slime & B“. Their latest rendition of the hit single “Go Crazy” includes Future, Mulatto and Lil Durk. Needless to say, the “Go Crazy (Remix)” is quickly creating hype online and has fans going even crazier than before.

In other new releases, we saw long-time Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Street Life team up with Method Man for their new single “Story of My Life“, a must hear in 2021 Hip-Hop. This single is bringing us back to the early days of the genre with those raw, thought provoking storytelling bars that Hip-Hop heads worldwide know and love and is yet another reminder that Wu-Tang is forever.

Now that we’ve talked about some new releases, let’s shift our focus to a song originally released in 2002 by two iconic names in Hip-Hop, Eminem & Nate Dogg. On Wednesday February 17th, 2021, Chart Data revealed that Eminem & Nate Dogg‘s ‘Til I Collapse” just became the most streamed non-single in Spotify’s history, making this yet another milestone achieved in Hip-Hop Culture!
