Police Investigating Homophobic Slur At Mayor’s House As Hate Crime

Ottawa Police are investigating after homophobic graffiti was found on the road outside Mayor Jim Watson’s home.

Neighbours noticed the slur Sunday morning and called police.

Police Chief Peter Sloly tweeted out, “Our Service has no tolerance for hate crimes of any kind. Our Hate Crimes Unit has been engaged and this act, and all acts of hate, will be fully investigated.”
