People in Ontario aged 50+ are now eligible to book vaccination appointments online. Essential workers who are unable to work from home are also included in the eligibility.

Who is Eligible?

The newly eligible workers include those in the education, child-care, food and manufacturing sectors. People aged 18 and up can also book vaccine appointments if they live in hot-spot postal codes.  Ontario says it expects 65 per cent of adults to have their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by the end of May.

Ottawa Appointments Limited:

Some people in Ottawa might have to wait a bit though. In an update on the vaccination roll out on Wednesday, Mayor Jim Watson and Ottawa Public Health stressed there will only be 60,000 appointments available through the end of the month. More supply is expected in June.
