The province is opening vaccine booking appointments for Ontario residents 18 years and older a week ahead of schedule.

Starting today (Tuesday, May 18) at 8am, residents can head to the provincial booking system and make an appointment.

2.2 million doses are scheduled to arrive this week, much of it ahead of schedule.

As well, those who are 17 years old and are turning 18 this year sill also be eligible to book their vaccination appointment – for the Pfizer vaccine. It is currently the only vaccine authorized by Health Canada for use in youth aged 12 and over.
