Reopening Saturday:
More outdoor recreational amenities will be permitted to open in Ottawa under provincial pandemic rules this weekend, including golf courses and driving ranges, tennis and basketball courts, skate parks, soccer fields
Shopping:
All grocery stores will be closed on Holiday Monday except for:
- The Loblaws at Isabella Street and at Rideau Street.
- You can also get your groceries at the Whole Foods at Lansdowne.
All shopping centres in the area will be closed except for:
- The Byward Market.
- Shops in the Glebe.
- The Rideau Centre.
Many garden centres and nurseries will be open – it’s best to call ahead.
All LCBO stores will be closed.
The following Beer Store locations will be open:
- 1860 Bank St.
- 1984 Baseline Rd.
- 48 Montreal Rd.
City Services:
There will no curbside garbage, green bin or recycling collection on Monday. That will resume Tuesday with collection off one day for the rest of the week.
The Trail Road Waste facility will stay open.
Transit
O-Train and bus service will follow a Sunday schedule on Victoria Day.
Para Transpo will operate on a holiday service schedule.
