Vaccine appointments open up as tens of thousands of doses arrive in Ottawa

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine in Ottawa will get a lot easier, starting next week.

With 27,000 more Moderna doses arriving today, and a strategic allocation of another 38,500 doses, the city plans to double the number of clinics operating here, with the aim of administering up to 100,000 doses per day.

New clinics are opening Monday at a number of locations, including the Canadian Tire Centre, Minto Sports Complex at the University of Ottawa, The Horticulture Building, and Canterbury Recreation Complex.
