The weather is cooling, it’s getting darker early, the conditions are perfect to watch a movie! From the films that got pandemic-delayed finally getting released to those coming right on time, here are the most anticipated movies coming to the big screen this fall:
James Bond: No Time to Die
Originally scheduled for release in November 2019, the 25th Bond movie was postponed more than a couple of times during the pandemic. Starring Daniel Craig in his fifth time — and, he says, his last — as the M16 agent, the film is coming to Canadian theatres October 8th.
Last Night is Soho
A psycho-thriller about two young artists entwined between present day and ‘60s swinging London from Edgar Wright, the director of Shawn the Dead. The soundtrack alone is something to get excited about, with music by The Who, The Kinks, Cilla Black, Sandie Shaw, and Dusty Springfield, but we’re ready for the mix of pop, horror, and story. Out October 29th.

Eternals
The 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe promises to be as action-packed and star-studded as usual, this time directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao. Get ready for November 5th.
Spiderman: No Way Home
Speaking of Marvel, this Spirderman movie will be the last film of Tom Holland and Zendaya’s Spider-Man trilogy. This time, Spider-Man’s identity is revealed to everyone, and he can no longer separate his normal life from his superhero life. December 17.

Who isn’t excited for Lady Gaga’s long awaited return to the big screen? This biographical crime film directed by Ridley Scott, tells the story of how the turbulent marriage and divorce of Patrizia and Maurizio Gucci, the head of the Gucci fashion house, leads to murder. November 24
