Mark the incoming season at Mādahòkì Farm’s Sīgwan (Spring) Festival

Spring is right around the corner and Mādahòkì Farm in Ottawa is ready to honour and celebrate the season with the Sīgwan Festival. Sīgwan means “spring” in Ojibwe. You may have visited Mādahòkì Farm for their Winter (Pìbon) Festival back in December, but if you missed it, Sīgwan Festival will include many similar features. You can shop with Indigenous makers or at the Farmer’s Market, take in interactive creative and culinary workshops, watch lives performances or visit with the Ojibwe Spirit Horses. The festival will also focus on Indigenous culture traditions and practices during the spring season.

The Sīgwan Festival takes place March 25-27th. There is free admittance but you will need to register here to attend.

Mādahòkì Farm is located at 4420 West Hunt Club Road.
