Today is Moose Hide Campaign Day, a day where all Canadians are called to stand up to violence against women and children. While the event started in 2011 as a small gathering of men and boys raising awareness of violence against Indigenous women and children, it is now nationally recognized.
This morning, Aiden and Jay had the chance to interview Paul and Sage Lacerte about the importance of Moose Hide Campaign Day, and what every Canadian can do to stand up against violence. Paul Lacerte is the co-founder of the Moose Hide Campaign, and Sage Lacerte is the national ambassador for the Moose Hide Campaign.
