Pikangikum youth are holding a 120 km bike ride from Red Lake, Ontario to Pikangikum, First Nation this weekend as a fundraising event.

In partnership with the OPP and New Hope Community Bikes, the youth of Pikangikum created this bike ride in hopes of fundraising money to ultimately improve the community’s bike shop and youth cycling initiatives.

The bike ride requires studded tires and riders must be prepared to ride through extreme temperatures, snow, ice and any weather that may come their way.
