Ten Indigenous and Canadian artists have been nominated for the 2020 SOCAN Songwriting Prize.
When it comes to voting, you might be feeling a little undecided. From William Prince’s heart-strings-pulling tune, “The Spark” to the political message of Haviah Mighty’s, “Thirteen” to iskwē’s charged up power anthem, “Breaking Down”, there is a lot to appreciate.

The winning artist will take home a $5000 cash prize and prizes donated from SOCAN’s sponsors.
